Xero's share price hits a 7-year low — despite strong subscriber growth

October 3, 2026

Xero's share price just hit a 7-year low. Its subscriber numbers tell a very different story

Xero shares are down around 33% over four weeks after FY26 results showed shrinking margins and Melio-acquisition costs. Market noise and day-to-day platform reliability are two very different things, worth remembering if clients ask "is Xero okay?"
